“This rune is associated with protection, divine protection also... the kind of protection this rune offers is ‘bestowed’ or ‘blessed’ like the deities or spirits and such have granted you protection... this rune can help you to speak with and commune with spirit and the higher powers.”
With today’s Full Moon in Sagittarius, and the upcoming Litha/Midsummer/Summer Solstice, the energies of our universe are alive and buzzing with electricity. Full Moons are a mini-celebration for me, as La Luna’s light illuminates the darkness of the night and allows for our hidden parts to be brought to the surface. This Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius feels like it’s carrying messages from the Great Spirit deep into our hearts, calling forth the intuitive shadows that we hide so we may be able to incorporate them into our being. Sagittarius is a deeply philosophical sign, so take note of any questions you might be carrying, any ideas which are calling for deeper introspection into yourself and your higher consciousness, and set aside some time to really listen to where you might be feeling these messages in your life.
For me, this Full Moon is a chance to reinvigorate the intentions I set during the last New Moon, a time when the sky is dark and the mind is open. One of my intentions was to TRUST MY INTUITION, something I’ve been purposefully engaging with over the past two weeks or so to be able to listen more to where the Spirit leads me. Last night, I got the sense to move the shell in this photo from one of my crystal shelves and was so surprised to find the Algiz Rune drawn on it. I don’t usually work with runes so I know I didn’t draw it, and when I asked my husband he assured me he had no clue where it came from. While there may be a logical explanation, I choose to believe that somehow the universe has blessed me with this beautiful gift and this rune to guide my path. It’s funny, the way that synchronicities work in our lives, to bring us closer to our deepest selves. This Full Moon, I invite you to dig deep. To be introspective. To find your path...
