a good transformation is a strong transformation.
️the girl on the left knows her worth, eats all the carbs, and is completely and fully happy in her body. (2019)
️the girl on the right doesn’t understand food and how it can really help & not hurt her, she’s a freshman in college who’s not going to understand or know how to maintain her health, and she doesn’t quite know her worth yet. (2017)
over the past year and a half i’ve grown, not just physically but mentally. i know my worth and i know where to spend my time and where to not. i understand that food empowers me and i shouldn’t shy away from it. i’ve always wanted to be “skinny”, hated my thighs, wanted to be the girl who could eat anything and not gain weight, and truly just never had an appetite but now i KNOW that those things dont HAVE to be me.
understand that transformation doesn’t happen overnight, it’s everyday. you get to chose who and what you want to be & you have every right to not be the person you were yesterday. understand that growth is uncomfortable, confusing, and sometimes stubborn but GROW! that’s the only way to live and learn.
most importantly, love yourself through the process. - 2 days ago
