Xmas Eve lunch. Anticipating a big massive roast and buttery carbs tomorrow, today all we wanted were dumplings and noodles from @xianimpressiongmail.com8194.
We didn’t go for the usual biang biang noodles but for the hand pulled noodles with Qishan sauce (岐山乾拌麵). I can’t say I know what Qishan sauce is but it’s quite vinegary with a hint of soy and spice. Noodle is served with hand chopped minced pork and thin potato slices. I really liked it, actually preferred it than the spicy biang biang...sometimes I don’t want to eat a dish that numbs all senses...
