I’m super psyched to be able to share my newest print, “Revolt”. It is a fundraiser print for Slave Rebellion Reenactment and A Blade of Grass @abladeofgrassnyc , one of the funders of SRR. It is inspired by Jacob Lawrence, specifically his Toussaint Louverture screen prints about the Haitian revolution.
Revolt envisions an army of enslaved rebels marching past modern day factories and refineries. A specter from the past challenging the present.
The print was printed by the awesome @kayrockscreenprinting and is 18”x 28”. To order a print and support SRR and ABOG, tinyurl.com/y5xwgf49

Tulum sunset. No picture of a sunset is as awesome as seeing it live and no picture of a sunset is ever that interesting. But you can’t resist taking them. And this one was amazing.

Psyched to part of #perilousbodies @fordfoundation. The opening was amazing. Thanks to all who came out. Seeing the demonstration in response to the non indictment of the cops who murdered #stephonclark makes this 1999 work sadly more relevant and timely than ever.
