Exercise your right, no excuses 🏻
True story - about a month ago, on my way to Austin, I sat next to the nicest lady on my flight - she reminded me of my beloved late mom so I felt an instant connection to her. She was definitely a "baby boomer" but nonetheless, we had so much to talk about. If you know me, then you know I don't really talk politics. But here we were, talking about the Kavanaugh hearing amongst other more light hearted things. Before we got off the plane, she looked at me with teary eyes and said she was sorry - that for all the progress her generation and the generation before her fought for, we are now in a time of regression. She went onto say that it was my generation, who could make a real change. It wasn't preachy and I wasn't even a little off-put by it. Her words and her feelings were genuine and wise.
Voting is incredibly easy and often, quick. So no matter what your views and no matter what changes you want to see, exercise your freaking right that those generations before us fought so hard for. - 1 month ago
