This is us looking all cool + casual. 😂 NOT feeling that way. This morning, I arrived 3 min late and feel like I’m 5 steps behind and it’s only 7:30 am!? Anyone with me?? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Nothing like a busy OR day to kick off the week!!!

Can we get a class vote on my new #wearfigs scrub top?? It has become the GREAT DEBATE in #aronowitzland this week. 💁🏼‍♀️ Hear me out - we wear the same thing every. day. So why not throw a collar on it for office days and spice it up a bit!! Taking it to Instagram to settle this once and for all.... 👍🏼 or 👎🏼?

Where is my favorite place to do fillers? Solid question - probably the lips.
•
Which is funny, because I’m not super into the big lip look. But, I don’t make your lips huge.. just more full. You would be surprised - people of ALL ages have something to say about their lips. “They’re shrinking!” “I have no top lip?!” “They are rolled in!” 💋 A little bit can go a long way. I find that the patient gets a huge confidence boost following a lip treatment, making it one of my favorite areas to treat. 😘

Today was the first time I went to an actual polling station. 🗳 In the past years, I was always an absentee ballot! I marked that bad boy right up. #vote

Most frequently asked question I get messaged to me?? 💌 “How did you get your job and injectable training?”
•
As for the job, I searched high and low. Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, recruiters, etc. 📄 I would send my resume in to practices, regardless if they had a PA posting or not. I always searched “physician assistant new grad.” That’s key. Find a job that will accept you as a new grad, because that means it probably comes with.... TRAINING. My injectable training was on the job with @aronowitzmd. 🙌🏼
•
Best advice to get the job you want? Shadow people in the area you want to be in. Make connections with individuals you aspire to be. Reach out! 🤳🏼 9 times out of 10, people are willing to help. Once you make contact, keep in contact! Relationships will be so invaluable when it comes time to job search.

UMM.. I feel like it was summer yesterday!? And now all I’m thinking is Thanksgiving, holiday parties, and winter weddings. 🍂❄️ WHATEVER you have on your schedule - you want + deserve to feel your best! 💕 This means something totally different to everyone. Some people love a new dress and others go straight for the shoe department. But what about treating your skin and taking care of yourself first? Whether it’s filler, Botox, coolsculpting, microneedling, or a general skin consultation - it’s OKAY to give yourself a gift! 🌟
•
It does NOT make you superficial to change something on your appearance that you do not like. My end goal is to only enhance what you already have & to make you feel even better than you do now. (Added plus Is that with all the events you prob have in the next months, you’ll be looking 👌🏽). Look good, feel good, do good. 👊🏼

Full disclosure: I had to take organic chemistry 2, twice. YEP. I retook it over the summer, because the first time just didn’t go well. 😬 (let’s just say there was a lot of broken glassware in lab.)🔬
•
In my PA interview, they asked me about it. (😫) I was honest and said, “I didn’t do well, so I retook the class.” You gotta do, what you gotta do. I still got in, I survived the class, I became a PA, life went on.
•
I figured, FOR SURE, I’d never see orgo lab equipment again in my life. WRONG!!! We use it during surgery to process the liposuctioned fat. And whose job is that? 🙋🏼‍♀️ Real Monday goal: no broken glass here!!

Working on a Saturday? Not my favorite, not a deal breaker. It’s more calm and casual than the usual M-F. It’s also a good time to play catch up from anything I didn’t finish throughout the week.
•
For all those getting after it on their Saturday- I’m with ya, I feel ya, and I’m rooting for ya. 👊🏼

don’t wait for someone else to give you credit. It is 100% okay to tell yourself that you are doing just fine. 👌🏽 #fridayfeels

This isn’t one of those awesomely, cool Instagram pics that blow people away. And this PROB won’t get a million likes, but it’s actually one of the more important photos. 📸 I suggest you save it and refer back when you need it!

Lesions and spots pop up on your body all the time, especially as we age! Know what’s normal, and know what’s not! You think something looks off? 🚫 Go get checked!

So you graduated PA school and now you have to go find a job. 😬 It is SO important to have a good working relationship with your supervising physician!
•
FIVE OF MY MUST HAVES-
1. WILLING MENTOR- you must find someone who is willing to answer ALL the questions you have and willing to teach you all the tricks they know.
2. HONESTY- If you can’t be honest with what your capabilities are to your supervising physician, there is no way you can do your job well! You also want their honest feedback. This is critical to growing as a PA!
3. AVAILABILITY- As a new PA, you probably want an MD that is available. It’s significantly more comforting knowing that I can always just text or call if I’m uneasy about something.
4. HUMOR- If you aren’t laughing, it’s going to be a LONG day.
5. RESPECT- you respect them, and they need to respect you. Some PA’s work very close with their MD, while other PAs love their autonomy. You do you, but respect the team you create.
•
Big 👏🏼 for @aronowitzmd for putting up with me 5-6 days a week! @bravotv + @bravoandy - we’re ready when you are. We don’t disappoint. 👯‍♀️

Dying to try Botox and just can’t seem to pull the trigger? Seriously, what is the reason?? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nerves, cost, lack of information?
•
Very seldom do I have a first timer come in and NOT return in 3-4 months! 💉 Bring a friend, know your injector, ask if there are any current specials- these are all simple ways to make it easier on you! 💕
