Sensory training in honey is an on going process. You’ll need to learn the methods of sensory analysis then you will have to be guided through the evaluation process with a trained professional. This swatch fan called mielicromia. Thanks to @mielithun for this innovative guide to Italian honeys. We hope you will come teach with us one day.

Tasting samples of honey from Indonesia 7 samples in all from the Sumatra regions 2018 harvest. The first 3 samples remind me of fresh ginger, white vinegar and duck sauce. The second flight had a rich floral note of fresh rose petals, animal and cherry syrup. They are nothing like the flavors of US honeys. Taste and learn.
